Second Favourite – WMF Teapot

IMG_1051I love tea, whether it be black, green, herbal, fruit, white… I prefer loose leaf tea to bagged tea as the flavour is far better. When I first started using loose leaf tea I would use a tea cup infuser, it works well if you don’t want to make a full pot but since I discovered my tea pot I rarely use the strainers any more. It is by WMF and is still available online. I bought mine through Teapigs but can be found through other retailers too. I have had it for at least three years now, possibly longer and still love it. I was so relieved when I discovered that it had made the move to Norway safely!

There are a few reasons why this is my favourite tea pot that I have found. The first thing is the tea strainer within it is great, no leaves go through so the tea is clean, it can also be taken out once the tea has brewed to your liking. Another feature that I like is the tea-light warmer that comes with it, it keeps tea at the perfect temperature for a few hours so if you are making a pot for yourself you don’t have to drink it all in one go before it goes cold. One of the most important things…it doesn’t drip! I have found with so many teapots that they drip but this one pours perfectly. I use this at least once a day.

My favourite teas to use are from Suki Tea, they have an amazing choice of loose leaf teas. At the moment my cupboard contains;

  • English Breakfast,
  • Peppermint,
  • Lemongrass and Ginger,
  • Red Berry,
  • Earl Grey Blue Flower,
  • Spiced Citrus; and
  • Indian Spiced Chai.

Another that I love is their Japanese Cherry Shencha and many others! All of their teas can be bought online at

I’m going to wrap this up but thought I would ask a question to you as I am always on the lookout for new teas and tea products to try. What tea related products are your favourites?
