I love beetroot, it has to be one of my favourite vegetables. I eat a lot of it during the winter months. Whenever I am out and buy a juice I always tend to buy beetroot based ones, but I always find that they never put enough ginger in for my liking so I thought I would start making my own. This a great juice to have for breakfast.
I have to be honest and say that even though I started my day with this it was very quickly followed by a skolebun, a cardamom bun filled with custard and topped with desiccated coconut. They are amazing and we have a bakery just a couple of minutes away from us which sells them, it is my Saturday morning treat.
As with all juices prepare your fruit and vegetables according to your machines instructions.
Beetroot, Carrot, Orange and Ginger Juice
Ingredients
- 1 uncooked beetroot
- 2 carrots
- 2 oranges
- 1 inch fresh ginger root.
Method
- Place all of the ingredients into your juicer.
