Chocolate for breakfast that is good for you?! Yes please! This is such a quick and easy breakfast to make and great as a make ahead breakfast if you are in a rush in the morning. I love breakfast, I wake up excited to eat so knowing that this was in the fridge waiting for me this morning made me jump out of bed very easily!
During the winter I love big steaming bowls of porridge for breakfast such as my indulgent porridge but in the summer this makes a wonderful change. Chilled bowls of oats ready to top with fresh fruit. This one is like eating an oaty chocolate milkshake however it is made using raw cacao powder. I was incredibly excited when I found this in Highland Wholefoods. I have been wanting to get some for a long time, packed with antioxidants and protein, no sugar pure cacao is wonderful! I have used semi skimmed milk for this but plant based milks would be delicious and make it vegan.
