It’s back, my guide to what is in season each month. I have missed this feature so thought I would start it again! I’ve always loved eating local and seasonal produce as it means each month there are different fruit and vegetables to enjoy rather than having them all year round. I am also getting very conscious about how I want to bring Rowan up, teaching him about sustainable food and living, with weaning just round the corner this is going to be in the forefront of my mind even more.
I always love May as it is the start of asparagus season which is one of my favourite vegetables! Plus it is still the tail end of rhubarb and wild garlic too, some more of my favourites!
